Sacqui Shikoba, always referred to by her nickname "Little Feather", is a student at Athalia Academy created and played by FaithsRose. She is near-always accompanied by her companion, Lion.

Powers

- Little Feather harnesses an old native american wooden flute, with wooden carvings of animals along the sides of it. With this flute she can summon forth spirit animals to assist her.

Each spirit can lend Little Feather one of their abilities, when they are summoned forth they become 'solid' for a short amount of time.

Certain animal spirits can have long term effects on Little Feather but mostly they only effect her when they have been summoned, once they leave they take the boost with them.

-She can heal others with her own life force. 

-She can create small force fields to protect herself and others, these are more powerful is Panther is present.

Current Spirits she can summon:

Bear =Strength/Rage.

Bear is the only spirit that does not boost Little Feather when he is summoned. He is a being unto himself, he will not go out of his way to protect Little Feather and will instead directly attack whomever Little Feather asks him to. He has powerful front paws with long claws that he will swing wildly at his opponent, he has super human strength which helps him against supernatural opponents but his blind rage hinders him as he has no attack strategy.

Butterfly = Clairvoyance.

When summoned butterfly will instantly set out along the best path to Little Feathers objective, able to lead any willing lost souls home. Butterfly will respond to Little Feathers inner desires, meaning if she doesn't have a clear idea of where she is going Butterfly will choose for her, which may lead her to reveal things Feather doesn't want her to. She can lead a path through any place or realm but is extremely fragile and susceptible to attack, she works well with the trickster spirit Fox. She is at her most effective when summoned alongside Dragonfly. She glows with a faint purple light, leaving a colorful glittering dust cloud in her wake as a trail, this substance can slide through Little Feathers barrier without hindrance. Little Feather will protect Butterfly with a barrier to aid in her survival. Butterfly has to be actively dismissed or destroyed to return to the spirit world.

Eagle = Healing 

When Eagle is summoned he renews Little Feathers life force, he spreads a healing cloud across injured champions with a beat of his wings though the healing isn't fantastic and the more people it covers the less effective it gets. 

Panther = Protection  

When Panther is summoned he creates force fields of protection, mind you he could probably only create a dome around him of about 25m2. When he is summoned he makes Little Feathers force fields more resilient against attack, and will take any damage dealt to her barriers as well as his own. 

Dragonfly = Light

Dragonfly is a passive summon, he brings light to wherever he goes. He is one of the only spirit animals that isn't on a timer when he crosses over from the spirit world. He'll fly around peacefully spreading light and minding his own business, he has to either be dismissed by Little Feather or destroyed before he leaves. He doesn't give Little Feather any extra abilities, but helps her deal with her fear of the dark.

Lion = Family

Lion is Little Feathers family, he keeps her tethered to her past and keeps her from becoming lonely. He is often her voice of reason when she can’t find any, and lends her his courage if she falters

Lion’s ability: Majestic Roar

An ability just for Lion, when Lion roars he produces a sonic wave with a knockback effect. If you have sensitive ears and you’re in the firing line it causes disorientation as well as quite the headache. He has to direct his energy to the roar which means he begins to fade back into the spirit world unable to sustain his solid form

Weaknesses

-If she is separated from her flute she can no longer summon the spirit guides and must depend solely on her other abilities. Note: This does not affect Lion’s presence, he will stay.

-Little Feather is far from invincible; if her barriers are attacked it inflicts damage directly to her either mentally or physically. She can be harmed just as easily as a human.

-When she heals a person she is using her own life force, therefore she can’t constantly heal others without putting herself at risk. Each time she heals, she has to meditate undisturbed to regain her lost force.

-Most of Little Feathers non-passive spirit animals can only be in this world for a small amount of time (Gets longer as she progresses) before they are returned to the spirit world, the more damage they take the faster they degrade.

-Little Feather has a fear of the dark and dislikes guns or loud noises.

-She cannot ignore people who need her help.

-Lion is very dear to her, although if they are separated it isn't life threatening without him she could easily become lost..

Personality

Little Feather is in herself a fairly calm person; brave, kind hearted and strong at her core, she doesn't shy away from conflict but will not openly seek out either. She will stand for what she believes in and is fiercely loyal to her friends. She is near enough useless in a lot of social situations, regularly confusing words in sentences or getting names around the wrong way.

Despite this she is all for trying to make friends and communicate with people! She tends to speak her mind without thinking over whether what she is saying could be deemed as offensive or not. She also has an annoying knack for pointing out the obvious...

Little Feather is very trusting and tends to wear her heart on her sleeve leaving it defenseless and easily punctured. She is extremely naive and is at risk of being easily manipulated by those around her, she cannot ignore people in need, always willing to offer her help and guidance regardless of her own feelings or views. She is easily embarrassed by intimate situations, preferring to be among a group of people rather than with just one person, she tends to get very nervous when alone with anyone other than Lion and is at her most vulnerable.

The most common misconception that people make about Little Feather is that 'what you see is what you get' behind her mask of face paint there are secrets and characteristics many have yet to coax out of hiding...

Background

Little feather was originally born a long time ago among the Native American tribes in the America’s way back in the 1800’s, she knows she was the youngest in her family and her father used to refer to her fondly as ‘Little Feather’. She was one of the unfortunate women to be killed after the massacre of Wounded Knee in the Great Plains. She still remembers snippets of her past before this, but she only really holds on to her people’s beliefs...believing nothing good can come from digging up the past anyway. Little Feather has lived for centuries watching the earth change and shift around her, never once wanting to be a part of it. She knows she was selected to help people, being trained as a healer among her birth tribe elected her a good guardian and her natural affinity with the tribes spirit guides made her a perfect candidate to continue their work

In the end she merged into both, being given the chance to live among the humans and to guide those that she could. She is more of an in-between guide often finding people who are lost and ‘leading’ them to their rightful paths, once they are on their ways she will fade away and allow another spirit guide to take her place. 

Over the last few years Little Feather has become restless, after failing to protect her most recent charge and her spirits have waned and she has been unable to complete her job having lost her abilities and losing connection with a few of her animal spirits. She has been sent to Athalia Academy in the hope she can regain her lost abilities and hopefully heal her troubled soul. Her spirit guide Lion has accompanied her to Athalia Academy, having stuck by her side throughout everything.

• Little Feather was married in her past life, a fact unbeknown to everyone in the Athalia universe.
• Little Feather was brought back to 'life' to attend the academy after being involved in a series of events that lead to a gross misconduct within the spiritual world and the loss of one of her charges.
• Lion was originally suppose to only be able to converse with Little Feather, however during the IC he has developed a personality and a voice, meaning he can now speak to anyone.
• Lion is Little Feather's spirit guide which is why he spends a lot of time by her, when she no longer needs him he will simply fade back to the other side.
• Little Feather is on borrowed time, if she doesn't redeem herself she cannot return to the spirit world or be returned to life (Permanently), she will simply fade away ultimately ceasing to exist.
